From the moment I touched and felt the sea, I knew my life would be tied to it. I have worked as deck/stew, deckhand, and Lead Deckhand in the yachting industry, specializing in maintenance, shipyard operations, navigation, vessel deliveries, and I was nominated as Lead Deckhand in ACREW Awards 2025, where I was also interviewed about the transition from crew to entrepreneur.
However, my calling goes beyond working on board: I want to transform the maritime industry with a more human, sustainable, and conscious approach. That’s why I offered free mentorship for those starting in this field and provided assistance with any onboard situations, leveraging my experience, knowledge, and network.
Moreover, I have developed a deep sensitivity toward people's health and well-being through my Nursing studies. This perspective has led me to promote initiatives focused on the physical and mental health of seafarers, which were selected for several entrepreneurship programs like Santander Explorer 2025, All Women 2025, Mentor Day 2025, Lagerta Project + Shackleton from A Bordo Lab innovation program 2025/26, Fabtech Tarragona 2026.
In Santander Explorer 2025, the project was awarded as the winner in Tarragona city, Spain, and the best business idea for students, awarded by Rovira i Virgili University and the Deputy of Tarragona city 2025.
But my commitment doesn’t stop there. Through RápitaNeta, the volunteer group I founded in 2024, I promote cleaning natural spaces, beaches, and streets in La Ràpita town to protect the sea, local flora and fauna, and enhance the town's image, while improving the health of our planet and fostering the integration of young migrants and participating in international competitions like Spogomi, or European cleanups.
My vision is to turn this initiative into an organization that involves the whole town, all businesses, builds regenerative tourism, and creates jobs while protecting the environment, offering real opportunities to those who need them most, and giving a chance to people whom no one else gives one.
Because my motto is: Everything is possible, even the impossible
